About Los Lagos Golf Club

Los Lagos opened in 2001 after the City of Edinburg invested more than $6 million to build a championship course in the Rio Grande Valley. Designed by Robert von Hagge of von Hagge, Smelek and Baril, the par-72 layout stretches 7,188 yards from the back tees and leans links-style, with eleven acres of lakes in play. It is a city-owned public course with a lighted driving range, short-game area and clubhouse. In September 2026 the city turned management of Los Lagos and Ebony Hills over to Troon.
