Marion Golf Club is a historic public 9-hole course winding through former farmland with original stone walls and views of Sippican Harbor. It opened in 1904 and is the first architectural effort of George C. Thomas Jr., who later designed celebrated Los Angeles courses including Riviera, Bel-Air and L.A. Country Club North; he took on the project after family friend William Bullivant asked him to lay out the course. Playing to roughly 2,700 yards and par 34, the layout is largely untouched from its origins.
