About Midland Country Club

Founded in April 1927 as a nine-hole sand-green course near downtown Midland, the club moved to its present site in 1950, where a new Ralph Plummer design opened in 1951. Plummer also designed Champions, Dallas Athletic Club and Preston Trail. A Weibring Wolfard renovation restored greens, bunkers and ponds and rebuilt the practice facility with a nine-hole short course.
