Shepherd's Rock began as The Links, a course designed by Willard Rockwell and the first of two courses built at Nemacolin. Pete Dye redesigned it in 2016, with Tim Liddy credited as co-designer, and it debuted as Shepherd's Rock in 2017. The par-72 course plays to 7,151 yards from the back tees.
