About Pecan Plantation Country Club

Pecan Plantation Country Club is a private 18-hole course in the gated Pecan Plantation community in Granbury. Architect Leon Howard laid it out in 1971 at developer Bob Leonard's direction, cutting the course from a 3,000-acre former commercial pecan orchard in the Brazos River floodplain. The par-72 course measures about 6,830 yards and was renovated by Colligan Golf Design in 2012. Access is tied to Pecan Plantation property ownership, with 18 holes included in dues. (The community has a separate second course, the member-only Nutcracker Golf Club.)
