Pelican's Nest Golf Club

Pelican's Nest Golf Club anchors the gated Pelican Landing community in Bonita Springs, tucked along Spring Creek near Estero Bay. Tom Fazio designed the first eighteen holes beginning in 1995, initially to give guests of nearby resorts a winter golf home. The debut course drew immediate acclaim and helped launch Fazio onto national best-of rankings. Over roughly the following decade Fazio returned to add a second eighteen in phases, rerouting and reworking holes along the way, until the property grew into today's 36-hole facility. The two courses are known as The Gator and The Hurricane, threading through wetlands, oaks and coastal scenery. Reflecting its natural setting, Pelican's Nest has been recognized by Audubon International as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary every year since 2001, a nod to its wildlife-friendly stewardship.
