About Port Royal Plantation - Barony

Designed by George W. Cobb and opened in 1963, the Barony Course was one of the first golf courses built on Hilton Head Island. Many holes feel open and approachable from the tee, but the challenge sharpens near the greens, where large Bermuda putting surfaces, thick rough and well-placed bunkers demand accuracy and a deft short game.
