About Prestwick Golf Club

Prestwick opened in 1989 on land owned by the Jackson family, with Pete Dye and his son P.B. Dye as co-designers. P.B. Dye shaped a naturally flat site with offset tees, heavily mounded fairways and elevated greens. It began as a private club, moved to semi-private play in the mid-1990s, and became fully public in January 2016.
