Red Sky Ranch Golf Club- Greg Norman Course

Red Sky Golf Club's Norman Course opened June 30, 2003, as Colorado's first course designed by Greg Norman and the second 18 at the club near Vail and Beaver Creek, where Tom Fazio shaped the companion layout. Routed across a former sheep ranch on the mountain's western slope above Wolcott, it climbs through sage meadows and aspen stands with long views toward the Rockies and Vail's back bowls. Norman gave it a muscular, links-influenced character: generous fairways, greens that are smaller and less contoured than the Fazio course, and bentgrass collars unusual for Colorado. Playing longer than its neighbor and rewarding accurate iron play at altitude, the Norman Course earned quick recognition and remains one of the Vail Valley's premier golf experiences.
