The Course at Wente Vineyards opened in July 1998 on the grounds of the Wente family winery in the Livermore Valley. It was Greg Norman's design, and its routing crosses native woodland, working vineyards and rolling grassland. The course hosted the Livermore Valley Wine Country Championship on the Nationwide Tour (now the Korn Ferry Tour).
