Royal Oaks Country Club is a private club in Houston's northwest corridor, built on the former Andrau Airpark as the centerpiece of an upscale master-planned residential community. The Fred Couples Signature golf course, co-designed with Brian Curley, broke ground in 2000 and opened around 2001. The par-72 layout plays about 7,000 yards and is known for its waterfall-framed par-3 16th hole.
