Sandpiper Golf Course

Sandpiper Golf Course opened in 1972 in Goleta, just west of Santa Barbara, as a William F. Bell design set on rolling seaside terrain. The oceanfront, links-style layout is best known for a run of holes that play along bluffs above the Pacific, with water views from nearly every hole, a setting that has long earned it the nickname the poor man's Pebble Beach. As a championship-length public course, Sandpiper has ranked among California's top public tracks in national surveys. Over the years it has hosted a range of professional competition, including LPGA Tour play and a stage of PGA Tour qualifying, cementing its reputation as one of the most scenic and accessible coastal rounds on the Central Coast.
