About Sleepy Hole Golf Course

Sleepy Hole in Suffolk is a Russell Breeden design from the early 1970s that hosted the LPGA's Crestar Classic from 1981 to 1988, including the 1988 playoff in which Juli Inkster beat Nancy Lopez, Rosie Jones and Betsy King. Tom Clark supervised a 2003 renovation, and in 2012 the clubhouse moved into the Obici House, built in 1924 by Planters Peanut founder Amedeo Obici beside the 18th green. It hosts the VSGA Amateur.
