About The Club At Viniterra
The Club at Viniterra is a Rees Jones design, shaped with longtime associate Greg Muirhead, set in the rolling, wooded countryside of New Kent, roughly twenty miles east of Richmond and about halfway to Williamsburg. It serves as the golf centerpiece of the upscale, gated Viniterra community and sits beside the New Kent Winery, a nod that gives the club its wine-inspired name. The par-72 layout plays from short forward tees out past 7,500 yards, with dramatic elevation changes of as much as 70 feet from tee to green and mature hardwoods framing nearly every hole in isolation. Multiple tee angles, including a short par 3 with numerous options, add flexibility, and drought-resistant turf sharply reduces water use. The course has drawn recognition among Virginia's better public-access layouts.
