The First Tee Chesterfield Golf Club

The Chesterfield facility, the Tattersall Youth Development Center, opened in August 2000 as the nation's 20th First Tee programming location. Architect Lester George donated his design services to the chapter. Richmond First Tee was incorporated as a nonprofit in 1998, led by Fred Tattersall with the Goodwin and Ukrop families, and backed by Chesterfield County and the City of Richmond. It is a public course tied to youth golf development.
