Snee Farm Golf Club bought the historic Snee Farm Plantation in 1966, and George Cobb then designed a private course, built around 1972, that anchored a neighborhood developed from 1971 into the late 1980s. The traditional par-72 layout uses ponds and marsh as water hazards.
