Spring Creek Golf Club

Spring Creek Golf Club opened in 2006 in Gordonsville, near the Zion Crossroads corridor between Charlottesville and Richmond. Designed by Ed Carton, the course quickly earned national attention, recognized by Golf Digest as one of America's best new public courses in its value category shortly after opening. The layout winds through rolling central-Virginia terrain with wide, framed fairways and well-guarded greens that reward thoughtful positioning. For much of its life Spring Creek operated as a standout public and semi-private option, drawing travelers and locals alike to a polished, tournament-caliber experience at an accessible price. In 2024 the club transitioned to fully private membership. Its reputation as one of the region's most enjoyable modern designs has carried through that shift, keeping it a benchmark for approachable, well-conditioned Piedmont golf.
