Squire Creek Country Club

Squire Creek Country Club opened in August 2002 in Choudrant, Louisiana, just northeast of Ruston, with an eighteen-hole championship course designed by Tom Fazio. Stretching beyond 7,000 yards to a par of 72, the layout showcases Fazio's polished, playable style while still testing strong players, notably through a demanding set of long par-3s, several measuring over 190 yards. The course earned quick national recognition, ranking as high as the No. 5 best new course in the United States by Golf Digest, and it has been rated the top course in Louisiana on multiple occasions. Squire Creek also serves as the home course for the Louisiana Tech University men's and women's golf teams, giving the club a steady tie to competitive collegiate play in the region.
