About Tangle Ridge Golf Club
Tangle Ridge Golf Club is a City of Grand Prairie municipal course that opened in 1995, designed by Arlington-based architect Jeffrey D. Brauer. Situated between Joe Pool Lake and the Mountain Creek escarpment at one of the highest elevations in the Metroplex, the par-72, 6,835-yard layout has more than 50 feet of elevation change, no surrounding homes, extensive bunkering and water on about half its holes. Golfweek ranked it No. 44 among America's Best Municipal Courses in 2009.
