About The Country Club at Golden Nugget

The Country Club at Golden Nugget sits on the banks of Prien Lake and the Calcasieu River in Lake Charles, part of the Golden Nugget Lake Charles casino resort owned by Landry's. California architect Todd Eckenrode of Origins Golf Design laid it out, and it opened in 2015, earning a place on Golf Digest's list of the year's best new courses. It hosts the Korn Ferry Tour's Lake Charles Championship and has been ranked by Golfweek as the best public-access course in Louisiana.
