About The Donald Ross Course

Donald Ross designed the course around 1917 as the Hill Course, and it was completed in 1920. It hosted the 1924 PGA Championship, won by Walter Hagen, and the LPGA Championship in 1959 and 1960. A 2006-07 restoration with architect Lee Schmidt brought back the 35 original bunkers and the original green shapes.
