The Golf Club Of Oklahoma

The Golf Club of Oklahoma is a Tom Fazio design tucked into the wooded, rolling hills of Broken Arrow, southeast of Tulsa, and consistently ranked among the state's finest private clubs. Opened in 1984, it followed a reported twelve-month search in which Fazio scoured northeastern Oklahoma before settling on roughly 525 acres of hardwood forest, nearly twice the land a typical eighteen requires, letting him route the par-72, 7,183-yard course with unusual generosity and seclusion. Mature oaks frame wide fairways, and a spring-fed lake, Lake Kadashan, dominates a dramatic closing stretch true to Fazio's habit of saving his best holes for last. Early in its life the layout hosted the Ben Hogan Tour's Tulsa Open in 1991 and 1992, showcasing a course built for both beauty and championship-caliber challenge.
