TPC San Antonio - Oaks

The Oaks Course opened in 2010 as the anchor of TPC San Antonio, designed by Greg Norman with major champion Sergio Garcia serving as playing consultant. From its debut it has hosted the PGA Tour's Valero Texas Open, one of the circuit's oldest events. Set in the rolling, oak-studded countryside north of San Antonio, the par-72 layout stretches beyond 7,400 yards and deliberately steps away from the manufactured, heavily mounded tournament style, favoring a more natural look shaped by native grasses and the region's mature live oaks. Wide corridors off the tee give way to demanding, well-defended greens that reward precise approach play. The course sits beside a resort and shares the property with a second layout, the Canyons, making it a marquee stop for both Tour professionals and visiting golfers.
