About Windermere Club, The

The Windermere Club is an 18-hole public/daily-fee course in Blythewood, just outside Columbia, South Carolina, designed by Pete Dye (built circa 1987 with son P.B. Dye) and opened in 1989. It is Pete Dye's only design in the Midlands. The Scottish links-style layout sits along the shore of the lake it is named for, with wide fairways, centipede rough, large greens and water in play on nine holes.
