Yocha Dehe Golf Club opened in 2008 in the Capay Valley near Brooks, about half a mile from Cache Creek Casino Resort, and is owned by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation (formerly the Rumsey Band of Wintun Indians). The site was the tribe's traditional spring camp, and the name means "spring camp" or "spring home" in the Wintun language; the tees carry Wintun names alongside their colors. Sacramento-based architect and former tour player Brad Bell designed the 7,300-yard layout, which has regularly appeared on Golfweek's lists of the best casino courses.
