Callawassie Island Club is a private 27-hole Tom Fazio design in Okatie, among Fazio's first-generation courses built in the mid-1980s (originally the Country Club of Callawassie). The 27 holes comprise three nines -- Dogwood, Magnolia and Palmetto -- that combine into three different 18-hole routings across live-oak woodland, freshwater ponds and surrounding tidal saltwater marsh. The Dogwood nine, the newest, opened in 1992. This routing is the Dogwood + Palmetto combination.
