Chanticleer is one of two 18-hole courses at the private Greenville Country Club, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. (with Roger Rulewich) and opened in 1970. Rock-lined creeks weave through the fairways and guard many greens on this shot-maker's par 72. Rees Jones and Steve Weisser renovated the course in 2001; it carries a 150 slope.
