Chateau Elan Golf Club

Château Élan Golf Club is the golf centerpiece of a sprawling winery-and-resort estate in Braselton, Georgia, about forty-five miles northeast of Atlanta. The original Château Course, designed by architect Denis Griffiths, opened in 1989, winding roughly 7,000 yards past lakes and creeks with water in play across many holes. Griffiths returned to design the companion Woodlands Course, which opened in 1996 and threads through rolling hills and tree-lined fairways in a quieter, more secluded style. Together with a nine-hole par-3 short course, the club offers 45 holes of resort and daily-fee golf. Set against the estate's vineyards, spa, and French-inspired architecture, Château Élan blends serious championship golf with a full destination experience, and has long been a fixture of North Georgia's golf-travel scene under Troon management.
