About City Club Marietta

City Club Marietta began in 1915 as a nine-hole layout, the Marietta Country Club Golf Course, built on the site of the former Georgia Military Institute, and grew to 18 holes in the 1960s. The City of Marietta bought it, hired Mike Young to redesign it completely, and opened it to the public in 1991 as City Club Marietta, making it a municipal course.
