About Henderson Golf Club

Henderson Golf Club, listed by Chatham County Parks as Al Henderson Golf Course, is a public 18-hole championship course in Savannah that opened in 1995 to a design by Georgia architect Mike Young. The front nine plays open and rolling in a links style while the back nine runs through tree-lined fairways. Long billed as one of Savannah's most affordable public tracks, it hosted Georgia PGA events, Golf Channel junior contests (2001–2006) and NGA/Hooters Tour events (1999–2005).
