Club At Savannah Harbor

The Club at Savannah Harbor opened in 1999, designed by architect Bob Cupp with golf legend Sam Snead. It sits on Hutchinson Island in the Savannah River, between downtown Savannah and the South Carolina line, and is woven through marshlands, native vegetation and the tidal wetlands of the Back River. Cupp and Snead built the layout around a philosophy of risk and reward, where a bold shot flirting with a hazard earns a better angle or a shorter approach, and they added classic touches such as greens with roll-off collars reminiscent of courses from the 1930s and 1940s. Playing to roughly 7,288 yards at par 72 over Bermuda turf, the course hosted the PGA Tour Champions' Legends of Golf event from 2003 through 2013. Adjacent to a waterfront resort with skyline views of historic Savannah, it is among the region's premier resort golf destinations.
