About Corpus Christi Country Club

Corpus Christi Country Club traces to a 9-hole course built in 1909 by Fred McLeod on North Beach, with President William Howard Taft attending the opening. After the 1919 hurricane destroyed it, the club reorganized and John Bredemus redesigned the course in 1921, expanding to 18 holes by 1938. The current private course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., opened on Everhart Road in 1964-1965 after the club relocated.
