About Dogwood Trace Golf Course

Dogwood Trace is a municipal course owned and operated by the City of Petersburg, and grew out of the old Lee Park Golf Course, built in 1978. Hurricane Isabel in 2003 left the course in ruin for about four years. After the city acquired the property in 2007, Tom Clark redesigned it, and it reopened in April 2008. Designer credits for the original Lee Park course vary by source.
