About Donald Ross Golf Club

Donald Ross Golf Club, on South Calhoun Street in Fort Wayne, opened in 1927 as Fairview Golf Course and is credited to Donald Ross. The Fort Wayne History Center counts it among the courses built in Allen County during the late-1920s golf boom. Indiana Tech announced it would buy the course in October 2017 and closed the deal in 2018. The university turned the back nine into an athletics complex. The front nine reopened to the public on April 11, 2018, as a nine-hole course that also serves as home base for the school's golf teams.
