Hyatt Hill Country Golf Club

Hill Country Golf Club anchors the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Villas, about twenty minutes northwest of downtown San Antonio on land once part of a working Texas ranch. The original 18 holes, now known as the Oaks, opened in 1993 to a design by acclaimed architect Arthur Hills, who routed the course to showcase the native Hill Country landscape: rolling meadows, oak-shaded plateaus, and quiet ponds and creeks. In 2005 the club expanded to a 27-hole facility with the addition of the Creeks and Lakes nines, giving guests interchangeable combinations across varied terrain. Multiple tee sets keep the resort layout playable for every level, and touches of local ranch heritage, including longhorn cattle and native stone, give the property a distinctly Texan sense of place.
