Lake Arlington Golf Course

Lake Arlington Golf Course opened in 1963 on the north edge of Lake Arlington and is an Arlington municipal course run by the city's Golf Division. Ralph Plummer designed it to flow with the natural land, with little water and no bunkers. After a major flood following 1989 deposited about eight feet of silt on Hole 8, the course was reworked, including a rebuilt Hole 2 green and re-engineered ponds and drainage. A second renovation, completed in 2009, rebuilt all the greens.
