About Legends Golf Resort - Heathland

Heathland opened in 1990 as part of the 54-hole Legends Golf Resort, the same year P.B. Dye's Moorland course debuted. It was only the second course Tom Doak designed, before he became one of golf architecture's best-known names; the client asked for an ode to the links courses of Britain and Ireland, and the layout includes nods to holes such as the Road Hole at St Andrews. GOLF Magazine named it a Top 10 New Resort Course in 1990.
