About Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill - Legislator Course

The Legislator is one of three 18-hole courses at Capitol Hill in Prattville, which the Retirement Systems of Alabama opened in May 1999 as the eighth site on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. GolfPass lists Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Roger Rulewich as architects and 1999 as its year built. The course winds up and down a bluff, with its back nine laid out in a cypress swamp. A 2025 renovation installed TifEagle ultradwarf Bermuda greens, nine new forward tees and upgraded bunkers.
