Est. 1999 · Jack Nicklaus
Why we love this place
Mansion Ridge pairs a true Jack Nicklaus Signature layout with a slice of colonial history. Big elevation changes, slick bentgrass and a stone clubhouse older than the country make for a memorable day just an hour from the city.

About Mansion Ridge Golf Club
The Golf Club at Mansion Ridge opened for daily-fee play on May 11, 1999, in Monroe, Orange County, as a Jack Nicklaus Signature Design. Nicklaus laid the course across a 220-acre historic estate whose landmarks predate the American Revolution, and the property's past as a grand estate gave the club its name. The clubhouse is a restored 18th-century stone building that now houses Migel's Tavern, and other historic buildings, including the pre-Revolutionary Checkerboard Inn, stand on the grounds. The course is known for bentgrass fairways and dramatic elevation changes, playing to roughly 6,900 yards from the back tees. Golf Digest named Mansion Ridge one of the top 20 public courses in New York, and the club, managed by Troon, has since refreshed both the course and the clubhouse while keeping the estate's historic character.
