About Oakland Hills Cc

The South Course has hosted six U.S. Opens, three PGA Championships, and the 2004 Ryder Cup. After winning the 1951 Open on the Trent Jones–toughened layout, Ben Hogan said he was glad to have brought "this monster" to its knees — giving the course its nickname. Only two sub-par rounds were shot that entire week.
