Oshkosh Country Club traces its roots to 1899, when it was known as Algoma Country Club, and it was among the nine clubs that founded the Wisconsin State Golf Association in 1901. In 1917 the club moved to its current site and took the Oshkosh name, on a course designed by Tom Bendelow that keeps its original routing. In 2020 the club opened tee times to the public for the first time.
