The Arthur Hills Course opened in 1986 at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort on Hilton Head Island, where it is one of three resort courses with the George Fazio Course and the Robert Trent Jones Oceanfront Course. Designed by Arthur Hills, the layout winds through rolling dunes, lagoons and the resort's signature landscape. It is distinct from the separate Arthur Hills course at nearby Palmetto Hall (1991), a common point of confusion.
