The Arthur Hills Course at Palmetto Hall Plantation opened for play in 1991 and was named to Golf Digest's list of America's Top 10 New Courses the year it opened. The layout threads through towering pines, moss-draped oaks and lakes to a signature par-4 18th, on a site reported to have been an old Civil War garrison. It was renovated in 2023.
