Panama Country Club in Lynn Haven (Panama City area) was built in 1927 by W.C. Sherman and famed architect Donald Ross; eight of the current holes still reflect Ross's original work. The roughly 6,700-yard course offers subtle contours and narrow-to-medium fairways, and its member tournament, first held in 1927, is one of the oldest continuous amateur events in the Southeast.
