Passaconaway Country Club

Est. 1989 · Brian Silva (Cornish and Silva)
Why we love this place

Passaconaway is a big-shouldered Brian Silva design along the Merrimack, nearly 6,900 yards with rolling greens and water that demands a plan. It's championship-feeling golf at public prices, and a reminder of how good southern New Hampshire's daily-fee scene can be.

About Passaconaway Country Club

Passaconaway Country Club officially opened in September 1989 on about 140 acres along the Merrimack River in Litchfield. The course was designed by Brian Silva of Cornish and Silva, the golf architecture firm based in Amherst, Massachusetts, and it was built as a demanding public course: from the back tees it stretches to about 6,855 yards at par 71, with undulating greens and water hazards coming into play on nearly every hole. The club earned a four-star rating in the seventh edition of Golf Digest's Best Places to Play, a strong showing for a daily-fee course in southern New Hampshire. Passaconaway operates alongside a sister course, Hidden Creek, and offers memberships, leagues and outings in addition to public tee times throughout the season.
