The Nicklaus Course is the younger of the two daily-fee eighteens at Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, opening in 2002, a year after its Rees Jones sibling. GolfPass credits the routing to Nicklaus Design, naming Jack Nicklaus II and David Heatwole as the architects. It shares the glacially shaped ground of ridges and hollows that runs through the Pinehills community, and the club highlights its pine-lined, rolling fairways and subtly contoured greens. From the Black tees it measures 7,243 yards at par 72, which makes it 68 yards longer than the Jones Course from the tips, and the scorecard offers five sets of tees down to 5,185 yards. The card rates the 426-yard 4th as the hardest hole for men, while the 591-yard par-5 16th is the longest on the course. Both Pinehills eighteens appear in the Top 100 Golf Courses ranking of Massachusetts, where the Nicklaus Course is placed 53rd.
