About River Plantation Golf Club

River Plantation Country Club in Conroe opened in 1968, designed by Texas architect Jay Riviere, as the centerpiece of the River Plantation residential community. It is a 27-hole facility with three nines named Augusta, Biloxi and Charleston. Early in its history it hosted the River Plantation Invitational, an LPGA Tour event played in 1968 and 1969.
