About Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at The Shoals - Schoolmaster Course
The Schoolmaster opened in 2005 as the second course at The Shoals, the 36-hole Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail complex whose first course, Fighting Joe, opened in August 2004. It is named for President Woodrow Wilson, credited with getting Wilson Dam built. The course follows wooded, rolling terrain along the Tennessee River, and its par-4 18th sits on bluffs above the river. It measures 7,971 yards, par 72.
