Sugar Creek Country Club debuted in 1972 as a member-owned private club whose founders commissioned Robert Trent Jones Sr. to build a championship 27-hole layout, with nines named Robert, Trent and Jones. Jones's design features raised greens, generous bunkering and frequent water. A Jeffrey Blume master-planned renovation began with the Trent nine in 2013, followed by the Jones nine in 2014.
