About Sunken Meadow State Park Golf Course - Blue/Red

Sunken Meadow State Park's golf course, officially the Governor Alfred E. Smith course, has 27 holes on three nines that can be played as 9 or 18. The Red and Green nines were built in 1962 and the Blue nine in 1964, all designed by Alfred Tull, who also designed the Yellow course and redesigned the Blue course at Bethpage State Park. Tull worked with the natural lay of the land, so the course is somewhat hilly and variable, set in mature woodland, and the driving range looks out over Long Island Sound. This row is the Blue/Red combination, par 71.
